ERMCO (Electric Research and Manufacturing Cooperative, Inc.) is headquartered in Dyersburg, TN, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (AECI), Little Rock, Arkansas. ERMCO is one of the largest producers of oil filled distribution transformers and transformer components in North America.
GridBridge, an ERMCO company, located in Raleigh, North Carolina is looking to hire Power Electronics students for an internship opportunity for Summer 2024.
This Power Electronics Engineer would play a key role on our engineering team developing the company’s power electronics solutions and operate with a small non-hierarchical team of engineers. The successful candidate must be an experienced fast learner, leveraging related professional experience and education in electronics theories and methods to deliver diverse grid connected hardware solutions for single-phase and multi-phase power converter platforms. The individual must be a highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong ethics, committed to delivering industrial product quality and performance. There are also leadership opportunities for candidates who area ready to go to the next levels in project leadership and team leadership. The ERMCO-GridBridge team operates in an open, collaborative, and flexible environment to achieve the most effective use of all team members’ contributions.
