Job Summary

This position is responsible for participating in and supporting the design and implementation of a centralized Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and all related analytics. This includes supporting a common approach to reporting on supply chain activities including Demand and Supply planning as well as production planning versus actuals. The analyst will work with the internal stakeholders at multiple sites while promoting a common way of working. Collaborating across sites to consolidate and analyze different data sets in support of establishing common goals and requirements while holding ERMCO Enterprise performance paramount will determine success. This role will report to the Director of S&OP

 

This individual will work closely with sales, materials management, supply chain and operations to determine requirements and lead S&OP content development across functions. This could include presenting strategic recommendations, relating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), researching industry trends, and performing market analysis.

 

The S&OP analyst will thrive in this role if they enjoy the journey of alignment and possess a high tolerance for evolving data. They should be comfortable speaking and delivering presentations to internal business teams as well as having excellent business acumen. The S&OP analyst will gain a vast knowledge of the inner workings and operations of the premier distribution transformer manufacturer in North America.

 

This role will be onsite in Raleigh, NC. Relocation assistance is available. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for seeking out data from stakeholders across sales and supply chain functions at multiple sites for consolidation into a common S&OP platform for enterprise-level reporting.
  • Develop content for monthly cadence meetings including Demand Consensus, Supply Consensus, and Integrated Operations Consensus
  • Work with internal stakeholders and partners such as site supply chain leads, sales, finance, engineering, and operations to gather and analyze business requirements in support of a common way of working across the enterprise.
  • Lead internal and external supply chain data analysis and provide recommendations to management, as required.  
  • Support the development, maintenance, and presentation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Responsible for S&OP performance reporting and dispatching of internal communications.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of a common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool as required

Qualifications

  • 3 – 7 years of analytical experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory control, materials planning or financial environment.
  • Experience in dealing with complex/ multi-site/ multi-ERP environments is preferred (ERP -InforLN experience highly desirable).
  • Experience with S&OP practices is preferred.
  • Experience with business systems and/or ERP implementation is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • ISM or APICS certification preferred. 
  • Strong computer skills including Power Query, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Outlook is a must.
  • Experience with SQL databases, including building custom queries for production and inventory metrics, and S&OP.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlikview.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and adhere to deadlines are required.
  • Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding inventory management, warehousing, supply planning and demand planning functions desired.
  • A knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Cost-Benefit evaluation, P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet concepts is preferred.
  • Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, independent work environment with limited supervision. Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands of the position.
