Job Summary:
The Compensation Analyst supports the administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of compensation programs and policies. This role partners with HR, Talent, and business leaders to help maintain competitive and equitable pay practices, conduct market pricing evaluations, support compensation planning activities, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Compensation Analyst provides data driven insights to support compensation decisions and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the organization's compensation strategy.

 

This role is remote within the following states: AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, NC, NE, MI, MA, SD, TN, TX, WI, and WY. Candidates may reside in or relocate to any of these states. Relocation assistance will be provided.

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide compensation recommendations based on internal equity, external market competitiveness and existing ERMCO salary ranges
  • Day to day compensation evaluations including but not limited to promotions, market adjustments, lateral adjustments and new hire recommendations
  • Assist in maintaining salary structures via annual compensation study
  • Support aspects of the annual compensation process for the US, Canada and Mexico
  • Ensure compensation programs and practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain compensation guidelines, procedures, and documentation
  • Monitor compensation trends and industry practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Support compensation related communications by creating content, presentations, and supporting materials, and collaborating with the communications team to ensure timely and effective delivery of messaging
  • Support compensation survey participation and maintain relationships with survey vendors
  • Job audits in system to ensure compensation criteria is up to date and accurate
  • Ad hoc analytics requests

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, required
  • A Master’s degree or relevant certifications, preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years compensation experience, required
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with major survey vendors, conducting salary surveys, performing ad hoc analysis, and creating salary structures
  • Able to support compensation cycle management, including building communication plans, auditing workbooks, responding to leaders on questions/concerns, creating and delivering communication statements, loading statements in to HRIS
  • Expert level Excel user with strong analytical, mathematical, and data visualization skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
  • High level of professionalism and ability to work at all levels of the organization
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
