Position Summary

The HRIS Analyst provides technical and functional support for the organization’s Human Resource Information Systems. This role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, optimizing system functionality, developing and running ad hoc reports, and supporting HR programs through accurate, timely system data and analytics. The analyst partners closely with HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Payroll, IT, and third‑party vendors to ensure systems are configured, maintained, and leveraged effectively to support business needs.

Responsibilities

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Serve as a system administrator for the HRIS (UKG), ensuring accurate configuration and ongoing system stability.
  • Maintain system tables, workflows, security roles, and organizational structures.
  • Perform routine audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop, manage, and run ad hoc reports for HR, management, and business leaders.
  • Create dashboards, data visualizations, and scheduled reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights.

Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Review current HRIS processes and recommend enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new modules or features.
  • Document processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

End-User Support & Training

  • Provide Tier II HRIS support to HR staff and employees.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and job aids.
  • Facilitate training sessions for HR team members and end users on system functionality and best practices.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure HR data is maintained in compliance with internal policies, state/federal regulations, and security protocols.
  • Support audit requests by providing required documentation and reporting as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in HRIS administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and run ad hoc reports using system reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Experience maintaining HRIS modules such as Core HR, Talent, Benefits, Timekeeping, or Payroll.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience with UKG in a mid-to-large manufacturing workforce environment.
  • Previous experience in HR Operations or HR analytics.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements such as FLSA, EEO, ACA, and data privacy standards.

 

Work Environment

This role is fully remote. The HRIS Analyst must maintain reliable connectivity, protect the confidentiality of employee data, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple time zones.

 

This role can be remote in the following states: FL, GA, IL, KS, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, WY
