Who Are You

The OEM Component Sales Manager plays a key role in managing and expanding relationships with OEM customers while developing new business opportunities. This role serves as the primary customer contact, responsible for understanding needs, providing technical and commercial solutions, and driving the full sales cycle to achieve revenue and growth targets.

 

Success in this position requires a deep understanding of customer operations and business objectives, enabling the delivery of tailored solutions that foster long-term partnerships. This role also demands close collaboration with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and successful execution of business plans and product initiatives.

 

This role can be remote in the following states: FL, GA, IL, KS, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, WY

Responsibilities

What Will You Do

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with OEM accounts to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing and new accounts to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Function as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and aligning ERMCO’s products and services to meet business goals.
  • Prepare and deliver regular business reviews, sales forecasts, and strategic account plans to customers and internal leadership.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance support to manufacturer representative organizations.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company policies and customer expectations.
  • Manage leads, track opportunities, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline through CRM systems.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and escalations to maintain strong relationships and service excellence.
  • Represent ERMCO at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events to promote brand awareness and generate new opportunities.

Qualifications

What Will You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development.
  • Proven success in managing complex customer relationships and achieving sales growth targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to develop actionable account strategies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, electrical equipment, transformers, power distribution, or related industries.
  • Advanced degree or professional certifications in sales or account management.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
