Résumé du poste :

Vos principales responsabilités en tant que Directeur(trice) des opérations consisteront à assumer le leadership, l’encadrement et le contrôle de l’ensemble des activités liées à la production de transformateurs. Vous veillerez à optimiser la rentabilité, favoriser l’innovation, soutenir l’amélioration continue et maintenir le développement de l’entreprise afin d’en accompagner la croissance.

Overview :

As Director of Operations, you will assume leadership, supervision, and control of all activities related to transformer production. You will be responsible for ensuring profitability, fostering innovation, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining the company’s development to support its growth.

• Participer au comité de direction et impliquer les membres de son équipe dans la stratégie de l’entreprise tout en favorisant la cohésion au sein de l’équipe
• S’impliquer activement à l’établissement des objectifs stratégiques de l’organisation
• Planifier, organiser et assurer un suivi des ressources financières, humaines et matérielles
• Maintenir les politiques, procédures, et mécanismes de contrôle qui assurent la mesure et l’évaluation de la performance en lien avec les objectifs de croissance de l’organisation
• Assurer le suivi et les rapports du plan de croissance avec le DG
• Maintenir un climat de travail orienté vers le travail d'équipe en impliquant et motivant les employés par le biais d’une communication constante
• Toutes autres tâches connexes

• Participate in the management committee and involve team members in the company's strategy, while promoting cohesion within the team.
• Be actively involved in setting the organization's strategic objectives
• Plan, organize and monitor financial, human and material resources
• Maintain policies, procedures and control mechanisms to ensure performance measurement and evaluation in line with the organization's growth objectives
• Monitor and report on the growth plan with the General Manager
• Maintain a team-oriented work climate by involving and motivating employees through constant communication
• All other related duties

Exigences du rôle :

• Baccalauréat en génie ou en GOP
• Membre de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec est un atout
• 5 ans d’expérience de gestion acquise auprès d’entreprises manufacturière
• Réalisation tangible et significatives en matière de gestion des opérations
• Bonne connaissance de la suite Microsoft et ERP, MRP
• Esprit entrepreneurial
• Grande capacité d’analyse et sens logique
• Bilinguisme (Oral et écrit)
• Connaissance de la norme ISO 9001 un atout
• Souci du détail et de la précision, créativité, sens de l’organisation et capacité de travailler aussi bien en équipe que de façon autonome.
• Expérience en Lean, en amélioration continue et en transformation numérique (considérées comme des atouts).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or GOP
• Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec is an asset
• 5 years' management experience with manufacturing companies
• Tangible and significant achievements in operations management
• Good knowledge of Microsoft suite and ERP, MRP
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong analytical and logical skills
• Bilingualism (oral and written)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 an asset
• Attention to detail and precision, creativity, organizational skills and ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Experience in Lean, continuous improvement, and digital transformation (considered assets).
