The Dyersburg Logistics & Shipping Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the logistics & shipping operations at all Dyersburg locations. This includes direct management of centralized logistics coordinators and all shipping teams across Dyersburg. The ideal candidate will ensure that logistics and distribution strategies are efficiently executed in Dyersburg, aligning with company goals to optimize delivery performance, minimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Committed to upholding safety and compliance standards in logistics operations.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing logistics & shipping strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively negotiating and building relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities to manage and motivate teams.
  • Experience in the distribution transformer industry or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proactive and innovative, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proven track record in managing centralized scheduling and overseeing shipping and traffic operations.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong background in negotiating contracts and managing relationships with logistics service providers.

Qualifications
