About the Role

This role sits at the center of ERMCO’s financial operations, ensuring every dollar in and out is handled with integrity and precision. You’ll oversee both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, lead a small but mighty team, and drive process improvements that make our systems more efficient and reliable. You’ll also play a key role in our ERP transition to Infor LN, helping to build modern, streamlined financial workflows across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily AP and AR operations across multiple manufacturing locations
  • Manage customer invoicing, collections, and cash applications with accuracy and care
  • Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and maintain healthy cash flow
  • Supervise vendor invoice processing, payment runs, and employee expense reimbursements
  • Build and maintain strong vendor and customer relationships, resolving issues promptly
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, purchasing policies, and GAAP standards
  • Lead and mentor AR/AP team members, supporting growth and accountability
  • Implement best practices and automation tools to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations and reporting
  • Partner cross functionally with Sales, Operations, and Finance to support company goals

 

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • 2+ years leading or supervising a team in a high-volume environment
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and audit readiness
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (Infor LN experience a plus) and advanced Excel skills
  • Natural leadership style that promotes collaboration, accuracy, and accountability
  • Exceptional organization, follow-through, and communication skills
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving

Additional Information

  • This role can be based at our company headquarters in Dyersburg, TN OR Athens, GA.
  • Occasional travel to other manufacturing sites may be required.
