Responsibilities

 

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and implementation of smart procurement strategies that balance cost savings, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with internal departments to forecast needs and build proactive procurement plans.
  • Source and evaluate reliable suppliers based on price, performance, and long-term value.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and contracts—keeping both cost-effectiveness and quality in sharp focus.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and supplier performance to identify new opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the end-to-end purchase order process: creation, tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure vendor qualification processes align with internal compliance and industry standards.
  • Promote ethical sourcing, sustainability, and diversity in all procurement practices.
  • Resolve supplier issues quickly and effectively—whether it's quality, delivery, or payment-related.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, quality, and leadership teams for seamless coordination.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop the purchasing team for peak performance and continuous growth.

Qualifications

 

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement supervision—ideally as a Purchasing, Buyer, or Expeditor Supervisor.
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain principles, procurement best practices, and vendor relations.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in cost analysis and procurement forecasting.
  • Familiarity with sourcing tools, ERP/procurement systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills—you build trust with teams and vendors alike.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and passion for developing others.
