Day In The Life:
The Fixed Asset Accounting Manager will take a significant role in shaping and optimizing the company's fixed asset processes. This role focuses on maintaining accurate asset records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights into asset management and capital expenditures. The ideal candidate will bring advanced expertise in fixed asset accounting, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement and collaboration.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. To be a good fit for this opportunity you will also have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on fixed assets or related areas.
  • Advanced understanding of fixed asset accounting principles, including capitalization, depreciation, and impairment analysis.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems and fixed asset modules; proficiency in financial software and MS Excel is essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Ethical mindset and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry practices is a plus.
  • This is a full-time role located in Bristol, WI.
