The Sales Application Engineer plays a critical role in aligning technical solutions with customer needs, blending engineering expertise with sales acumen to drive business growth. This role involves direct interaction with customers to understand their requirements and providing tailored solutions that align with their goals.
Qualifications:
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field OR equivalent work experience in the Sales or Engineering field. Advanced degrees or certifications is a plus.
• Experience in contract management, legal analysis, or a related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of the company’s products, including technical specifications and applications.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software.
• At least 3 years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role, with a demonstrated ability to solve customer problems.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and proposal writing.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity in developing solutions to meet customer needs.
• High level of customer service orientation and the ability to foster long-term customer relationships.
• Collaborative mindset, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales and technical objectives.
• Adaptable to new technologies and evolving customer requirements.
