About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to lead our financial operations—including general ledger accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting—at a critical stage in our company’s expansion. This position supports financial planning and analysis (FP&A)compliance, and strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance leader with strong GAAP knowledgemanufacturing accounting experience, and ERP systems expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings
  • Manage the general ledgeraccounts payableaccounts receivable, and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes; analyze variances and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Develop and enforce internal controls and financial policies to support compliance and risk management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Lead cash management and optimize working capital
  • Coordinate and manage annual external audits and implement recommended improvements
  • Partner with senior leadership to support long-term strategic planning and evaluate funding opportunities
  • Drive continuous process improvement and accounting best practices
  • Leverage ERP and financial systems for reporting, analysis, and scalability
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPACMA, or Master’s preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience as a ControllerAccounting Manager, or similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, financial compliance, and regulatory reporting
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, INFOR, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated success in managing financial statementsbudgets, and variance analysis
  • Strong leadershipteam development, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain discretion with confidential data
  • Excellent analyticalproblem-solving, and communication abilities
