Overview

The Mechatronics Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and integrating mechanical, electrical, and control systems to create high-performing automated solutions. This role requires leveraging a strong understanding of mechatronic systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring system performance and reliability to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Develop and implement mechatronic systems and components, including sensors, actuators, and controllers, to improve product performance.
  • Programming: Design and implement control algorithms for automation systems using programming languages such as Python, C++, MATLAB, or PLC programming tools.
  • Integration: Integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems into seamless automated solutions for manufacturing or product applications.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct rigorous testing and diagnostics to ensure system functionality, reliability, and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and production staff, to achieve project goals.
  • Optimization: Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement, optimizing efficiency and functionality.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, technical reports, and user manuals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with advancements in mechatronics, robotics, and automation technologies to recommend and implement innovative solution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • More than 5 years of experience in designing and developing mechatronics or automation systems.

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.

  • Expertise in programming and developing control algorithms for automation systems.
  • Experience with PLC programming and control systems.
  • Knowledge of robotics, automation, and system integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial automation environments.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT and digital twins.
  • Familiarity with advanced programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
  • Proven track record of successful cross-functional project management.
