Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated ISO Manager to join our Enterprise Quality Department. The ISO Manager will be responsible for maintaining the company’s ISO program, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing technical support for quality issues across the enterprise. The ISO Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of excellence and process improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for and coordinate external ISO certification audits, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Implement and maintain quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems, and testing and calibration laboratories with ISO standards as needed.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to identify gaps in compliance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in supplier and customer audits.  
  • Perform analysis and problem-solving resolution to identify opportunities for improvement in processes related to ISO certifications.
  • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Oversee, plan and manage projects related to the implementation of ISO standards and process improvements, to enhance quality control measures.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on audits, corrective actions, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead teams in the development and revision of quality standards, procedures, and documentation to enhance overall product quality.
  • Stay cognizant of revisions to relevant ISO standards and ensure the company is aligned with the latest versions of the standards.
  • Ensure that documentation files and history records are accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the coordination of the review of process documentation at established intervals.
  • Ensure company records management and retention policies are followed.
  • Execute and maintain a compliant and efficient document control management system.
  • Work with quality systems and all levels of facility personnel to achieve company quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance and management of calibration of instruments and testing equipment.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff members to raise awareness of ISO and ensure awareness of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining compliance with these standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a quality related field, with a preference for candidates with experience in the distribution transformer industry or related electrical equipment manufacturing and relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
  • Proven record in leading and conducting audits, as well as implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Experience working directly with cross-functional teams in a quality capacity.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams to achieve compliance goals.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and provide effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and quality management software tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to supplier sites as needed.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in quality disciplines.
