Overview

We are hiring for a Sales Associate I who will be responsible for providing assistance with daily tasks within the Transformer Sales Department.  Activities may include, but are not limited to, data entry, general order processing, and support of fellow Sales Associates. Primary focus will be working alongside other inside sales team members and may extend to limited customer and manufacturer's representative support.

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prepares and enters customer orders with careful attention to assigned stock numbers, item descriptions, pricing, customer numbers, PO number, etc.
  2. Communicates and coordinates with other departments to meet customer needs and associated tasks.
  3. Acts as temporary backup to fellow Sales Associates as assigned or needed.
  4. Follows filing and documentation procedures and practices.
  5. Coordinates the receiving of decals and transfers to production on a weekly basis.
  6. Takes initiative in learning basics of ERMCO products and the power industry.
  7. Represents ERMCO and ERMCO Sales Department in a professional and courteous manner while communicating clearly and affectively with customers, manufacturers' representatives, and colleagues. Customer service skills required.
  8. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

 High school diploma and/or associate's degree with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service. 

 Must have good computer skills in MS (Word, Excel) 

 Industry experience in the manufacturing, power and or a customer facing position is preferred. 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, wherein there is controlled temperature and a low noise level, plus a minimum of distractions.  Moderate stress levels can be expected.
