Overview

Looking to hire a Maintenance Tech for our 2nd shift (3 pm- 11 pm), Mon-Fri. Must be flexible for Saturdays 

 

Primary functions are to perform P/M’s and assist with maintenance projects as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.   Must have high level of mechanical understanding and some maintenance experience.   Will work in all aspects of maintenance – electric, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and related controls.

 

 

Responsibilities

Primary functions include:

 

  • Perform P/M's and assist with maintenance projects. 
  • Maintain machinery, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Review maintenance / repair schedule to determine material requirements.
  • Operate maintenance equipment, machines, and tools.
  • Maintains open communication with team lead to ensure project schedules are met.
  • Complies with and enforces all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures consistent and maximum throughput while maintaining quality.
  • Ensures that product loss and scrap are kept to a minimum.
  • Notifies team lead of supply inventories and material needs.
  • Keeps plant fabrication/tool area in ‘tour-ready’ condition at all times.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

 

4-8 years of experience in building and equipment maintenance; or any combination of education, training, and experience which provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.

 

KNOWLEDGE OF:

  1. Manufacturing and building systems, machines, and equipment.
  2. Must have a high level of mechanical understanding. 
  3. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as: drawings, prints, diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  4. Will work in all aspects of maintenance-electric, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic controls.

 

SKILL IN:

  1. Maintenance Tools – Including but not limited to welder, mill, press, shear, drills, lathe, and hand tools.
  2. Use of measuring devices such as: caliper and micrometer.
  3. Operating a forklift.
  4. MUST HAVE STRONG ELECTRICAL TROUBLSHOOTING ABILITIES
