Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst will support the design and implementation of a centralized Sales and Operations Planning process, including analytics and reporting on supply chain activities like Demand and Supply planning. They will collaborate with internal stakeholders across different sites to consolidate and analyze data, establish common goals, and ensure ERMCO Enterprise performance. Responsibilities include working closely with stakeholders to determine requirements, lead S&OP content development, research industry trends, perform market analysis, and present strategic recommendations. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Operations Planning, the analyst should be comfortable delivering presentations and have excellent business acumen, gaining extensive knowledge of the premier distribution transformer manufacturer in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize data mining techniques and maintain/update SQL queries for effective data extraction, analysis and reporting.
  • Develop content for monthly Demand, Supply, and Operations Consensus meetings.
  • Consolidate data from stakeholders across supply chain functions and sites to create Enterprise-level analytics.
  • Lead internal and external data analysis, providing recommendations based on findings.
  • Collaborate with supply chain leads, sales, finance, engineering, and operations to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Support the development, collection, maintenance, and presentation of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage S&OP performance reporting and vendor communications and participate in ERP tool design and implementation.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistical, financial, or supply chain-related discipline. ISM or APICS certification preferred.

 

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of analytical experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory control, materials planning, or financial environments.
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining complex Excel Models (including VLOOKUP and SOLVER), and SQL queries. 
  • Experience with Dashboard applications such as Power BI, Tableau is preferred.
  • Experience in dealing with a complex, multi-site, multi-ERP environment is preferred.
  • Experience with Sales and Operations Planning practices is preferred.
  • Experience with business systems and/or ERP implementation is preferred.
