Sales Associate I

The advanced Sales Associate role is a dynamic position within the Sales Department, responsible for coordinating accounts and liaising with customers and manufacturer's representatives to deliver both sales and technical service support. Key responsibilities include order processing, providing after-sales support, collaborating across various departments, and diligently overseeing and following up on assigned accounts. This role serves as the essential point of contact for customers at ERMCO.

• Prepares and enters customer orders with careful attention to item descriptions, pricing, requested delivery dates, PO number, etc.
• Works closely with other ERMCO functional groups in tracking production orders and shipping details. Updates customer on findings and alerts for production and shipment delays.
• Acts as a backup for counterpart at the ERMCO-ECI location in Greeneville, TN.
• Portrays excellent customer service skills, answering customer calls and/or questions. Communicates in a professional, courteous, and timely manner to customers, reps, & colleagues.
• Maintains and updates contractual and daily pricing as directed.
• Exercises an ability to handle stress and work well with others. These are essential functions of this position.
• Takes ownership of customer accounts, updates server information, and ensures system compliance along with following filing and documentation procedures.
• Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

• WORKING CONDITIONS
• Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, wherein there is controlled temperature and a low noise level, plus a minimum of distractions.

• PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
• Highly repetitive type of work which requires concentration in the performance of tasks for consistent time cycles as prescribed by the tasks.
