Overview

In this role, the Customer Service Representative provides the best possible service to the customer through accurate and efficient data entry and order invoicing.

 

Responsibilities

  • Enter all orders for product from information provided by reps and customers in an efficient and accurate Resolves errors and order holds in the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system so orders can be processed accurately and timely for shipment and invoicing.
  • Seek and obtain answers on orders until problems are solved and/or tasks are.
  • Invoice all product which is shipped from the rep warehouse as advised by
  • Track and verify receipt by rep for all stock replenishment shipments. Advise logistics coordinator of all discrepancies between shipping and receiving documents on replenishment.
  • Manage customer returns and damage claims to recover costs and return the product to the manufacturing.
  • Participate in Production Posting meetings to ensure customer orders are designed, manufactured and shipped on.
  • Initiate document necessary for re-name plating units. Obtain confirmation from the rep location which is making the change and make sure the inventory is adjusted so the shipment can be made.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Minimum of 3 years customer service experience necessary
